This years Customer Appreciation "Dinner in the Desert" was another huge success! We fed well over 500 of our customers chips 'n salsa, homemade spaghetti with meat sauce and pasta salad. After everyone loaded up on home cooking we had tons of games with hundreds of dollars in prizes. Starting off the night was the "balloon stomp" where your opponent tried to pop a balloon tied to your leg. Then the night went on with seeing who could eat a tablespoon of cinnamon, talking your blind folded partner through an obstacle course, more balloon popping, chocolate covered marshmallow toss, musical chairs and everyone's favorite Fear Factor! Everyone that played had an awesome time and the winners were stoaked out with some pretty cool prizes. NCY also helped raise a sizable chunk of change for West Shore Ambulance ($2,500); which is a nonprofit ambulance service for the desert. The money was raised through the sale of raffle tickets and auctioning off prizes donated by NCY.
